Retro FM Rock Radio The Way God Intended
DJ's? We Don't Need No Stinking DJ's! We believe in less talk, more ROCK!
680 wdy New Jersey's first (fantasy retro) radio station
WDY, one of the country's very first licensed commercial radio stations, was operated by the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) in the Marconi radio factory (now the Romerovski Bros. building) in Roselle Park, New Jersey. The station lasted only a couple of years in the early 1920s, doomed to oblivion like so many early stations. But what if WDY had survived, through prosperity and depression, war and domestic strife and peace, bobby socks and Beatles, into at least the '70s?
